So this year for my birthday i asked my parents for a harmonica.. I asked for one in the key of A because it's the key I most commonly play in when playing guitar. My mom went to guitar center for the buy, and brought back a really nice Lee Oskar Major Diatonic Harmonica.. On the outside of the box it has a sticker labeled A.. but on the inside the harmonica reads 1st D, Second A... and it seems to be in the key of D when i blow out and A when i suck in... Im just confused because it doesn't work well with my guitar in A, and i was wondering if this was a mistake in the packaging, or just my lack of knowledge on harmonicas.. any answers will help

How to bend notes on a harmonica?
I can blow and draw single notes and chord type sounds, but i cannot bend. I want to know how to bend though because, if done successfully, it has a beautiful, blues effect when you're playing. I've tried looking up videos and googling it but there wasn't much information. I've heard about the weee oooh thing but it's just not that helpful. am i doing something wrong? is there a secret to making a perfect bend? please explain...thanks for reading and hopefully answering sayonara, my lovespeace, love, rock n roll
Good beginner songs to play on the harmonica?
I can play single notes well using both tongue blocking method and lip pursing ... I wanted to move onto chords but I just don't understand them so well so does anyone know any good medium level songs I could learn? So I can practice toungue more... Also is it true harmonica players are good kissers?

I got a harmonica with nothing on it (no notes) how do I fix it. And do I start high to low or low to high?
Like the question above says, I have a blank harmonica. I want to put little stickers with notes on them or something so I can figure out how to play it. This is very annoying to me. And what side do I start with like is high " A" or is low " A" This is probably a stupid question but it is really annoying. Thanks.
Which type of harmonica should I buy?
I m a beginner at playing harmonica, and I m currently using a $5 plastic piece o crap from Pier 1. It s already leaking air and terribly out of tune. I looked into buying a new one there are SO many different kinds, and I don t even know where to begin. I m thinking a diatonic harp in the key of C most likely a Hohner . This still leaves me with buttloads of options, like Special 20, Old Standby, Marine Band, Bluesband, Blues Harp, Golden Melody, and so much more. Which would be best for someone who s not too serious about harmonica? I d like to be able to bend notes and have a nice tone, but I m not ready to pay an arm and leg for the instrument. Ideally, I d like it to cost no more than $25.

Harmonicas (diatonic) - what new harps should I try?
I have been experimenting with harmonica for some time now and I want to try out some other keys lower ones I have been playing a hohner special 20 C , and I play with the pucker technique, but I was looking to try out harps that maybe don't have the harsh box car shape. since I have some wrist and finger joint pain, I feel like this might help.I was looking at the hohner golden melody and the Suzuki bluesmaster, how are these? And what other harps should I look into? I like more rounded and mellow sounding tone in my instruments, Thanks
